    Learning Objectives

    Therapists valuable skills in the Intensive Journal program.

    3 Core Workshops

    Part I: Life Context (LC): Foundations of the Intensive Journal Method. Prerequisite: None. Length: 10-12 hours

    • Learn basic rules for using the Intensive Journal method and principles of holistic depth psychology that underlie the method.

    • Apply dialogue techniques to break through blockages and biases.

    • Use and integrate diary techniques into the ongoing life process.

    • Apply Entrance MeditationSM techniques to access inner processes.

    • Use Life Positioning exercises to gain a perspective on life.

    • Apply Twilight Imagery exercises to develop one’s inner capacities.

     

    Part II: Depth Contact (DC): Symbolic Images and Meaning.
    Prereq. LC or Life Experience (LE) workshops. 10-12 hours

    • How to record and develop dreams and other symbolic imagery.

    • Specific exercises to work with experiences of meaning.

    • Advanced meditation techniques (Mantra/Crystals).

    • Apply additional dialogue techniques to gain insights about areas of life.

     

    Part III: Life Integration/Journal Feedbacksm Process: Integrating the Life Process. Prereq: LC & DC, or LE workshops. 10-12 hours

    • The Journal Feedback process - Apply non-analytical techniques, moving from one Intensive Journal section to another.

    • Integrate various aspects of life as the process of self-development unfolds.

    • Approach situations from different perspectives using several exercises.

    • Develop dreams and other imagery.

    • Ongoing use of the method in the unfolding life process.
